CVC® plus for Dongkuk
At Dongkuk Steel, we are for the first time equipping an existing plate mill stand with our CVC® plus technology which allows precise adjustment of the plate profile and flatness. In combination with the increased rolling force, CVC® plus also ensures greater pass reductions, thus making it possible for Dongkuk Steel to increase the mill's throughput. Within the scope of the revamp of the roughing and finishing stand, we intend to install a new Level 2 automation system, including pass schedule calculation, material tracking as well as new technological control systems.
