Kunming Iron & Steel (Kisco): twin-stand Steckel mill
At Kisco, one of the very first twin-stand Steckel mills started production in 2002. The company at Kunming in the province of Yunnan in South China has extended its own hot strip production through this mill. Kisco uses the twin-stand Steckel mill to produce a wide mix of steel grades, ranging from simple carbon steel grades to HSLA and tube grades to non-grain oriented electrical steel sheets.Production data
