Rolling mill for 5.5 million t of hot strip
Maanshan Iron & Steel. The new hot strip mill of Masteel was commissioned in February 2007. It is outfitted with all the state-of-the-art technologies for the production of top-quality hot strip and attains an extremely high production of 5.5 million tpy. The hot strip mill constitutes the core of a new metallurgical complex for which SMS Siemag has performed the works planning and also supplied two continuous casters.Technical data
