UNI plus coiler to meet new requirements
ArcelorMittal Bremen, Germany. Firmer, thicker, wider - the latest trend in pipe grades. The coiler systems have to meet the most exacting requirements when winding these materials. This is why our new UNI plus coiler went into operation in January 2008 at Arcelor Bremen. It is the most powerful system of its kind worldwide and can wind high-strength tube steels up to a thickness of 25.4 mm and a max. width of 2,100 mm even at low strip-head temperatures.
