MORGOIL® roll-neck bearings. More than 30,000 MORGOIL® bearing bushes and over 24,000 MORGOIL® roll-neck bushes have left our production facilities since 1954. This is a clear indicator of the performance capacity, reliability and cost-effectiveness of this type of bearing. Increasingly in demand for high-strength grades and stainless steels, cold rolling is the area where the strengths of MORGOIL® bearings stand out most.
Compact and competitive: KLX bearings. Our new packing system, used in dual load KLX-type MORGOIL® bearings, achieves excellent results in practice:
- Absolute tightness during wet or dry skin-passing
- No lubricating oil leaks into the roll emulsion
- No packing replacements due to wear or leakage
- High strip accuracy
Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH has used this type of bearing since 2003 in its two-stand skin-passing mill, and we will shortly apply this technology in a five-stand tandem cold rolling mill for Voest Alpine Stahl.
Adapting to the future. You don’t have to buy a new plant to benefit from our MORGOIL® bearings – they are just as useful in revamps. We supply solutions in compact designs that are easy to retro-fit. You benefit in several ways from these upgrades.
