An attractive solution. Stray oils are a nuisance during rolling. They occur due to leaks or during work roll changes, and mix with the rolling emulsions. That changes the composition of your rolling emulsions and with it the operating conditions. Furthermore, it negatively impacts on your corrosion protection and filter service life, while increasing filter agent consumption. Our band oil separators solve these problems in a simple yet effective way. To do this, they make use of the physical force of adhesion.
Pure performance. The band oil separator is arranged in a liquid tank so that the deflector roll is still immersed when the liquid is at its lowest level. As the adhesion force exercised by the plastic band on the tramp oil is higher than the cohesion force of the emulsion, the band attracts the oil and transports it away. Finally, two wipers wipe off the oil into collecting troughs.
