Your benefit. Our multi-plate filters purify cooling lubricants for hot and cold rolling of aluminum, nonferrous metals, and steel. With their special filtering agents, they remove solid particles down to a size of 3 – 5 microns. And whenever that is not enough, we add filter auxiliary agents such as kieselguhr or cellulose to reach a filter fineness of approx. 0.5 microns.
Modular system. The multi-plate filter is supplied in a modern, practice-proven modular system. So you can choose versions with up to four plate stacks, each consisting of 20 filter plates. Chief among our aims when designing the filter plates were high filtration effects, optimal liquid distribution, and absolute tightness.
How it works. Contaminated cooling lubricants flow under pressure through several parallel filter chambers. The fine particles are deposited on the filter paper and on the filter auxiliary agents used for special applications. Then the purified liquid is re-introduced into the coolant cycle.
To regenerate the multi-plate filter, all the liquid is pressed out of the filter chambers and dried into filter cake. A paper drawing device removes the filter cake from the paper and it is disposed of separately. Next, the used filter paper is wound onto coilers and simultaneously replaced by new paper so that the filter is ready for a new filter cycle.
