A cut above
Performance-enhancing. Today, the productivity of metallurgical and rolling mill technology is constantly increasing. To make full use of these advances, all your plant components must support the high speeds and growing quality demands involved here. Your shear lines have to come up to especially tough physical standards. Even at increased production rates, they must guarantee a consistent cutting quality with burr-free edges. Our innovatively designed shear lines literally give you performance that is a cut above the rest. You can choose from entirely new shear lines or one-off solutions for efficient revamps.
Product-protecting. We supply the full range of shear solutions: apart from complete slitting and cross-cutting lines, also cropping shears, flying shears and double side trimming shears. To complement our shear plants, we also develop customized devices for sample and scrap handling. What makes our shears something else is their special curved knives for fully automatic rolling-cut operations. We apply this innovative cutting method in our slitting shears – for central slitting of rolled plate – and in our cross-cutting shears for cutting into final lengths. What you gain is precise, product-protecting cutting along with high cutting performance.
