Fast coater changeover. Our roll coaters in the coating chamber directly apply the coating to the top and bottom sides of the strip. Here’s our design advantage: the arrangement of the replacement coaters. Whenever you change the coating medium, you simply remove the two active coater decks from the strip and transport them out of the line. Simultaneously, a new pair moves into the line and onto the strip. This rapid changeover during the ongoing process with endless strip ensures extremely short lengths of uncoated product. So it gives you the perfect symbiosis of high productivity and versatility. Subsequently, the coats are dried in the furnace zone. All this time, the dried film thickness is measured constantly throughout the controlled process and the plant is fully automatically adjusted as required.
