Our electrolytic de-greasing lines are ideal for removing oil and iron residues from steel strip. The strip is immersed in a hot alkaline solution, where the surface is treated by transporting the strip through direct-current electrodes in a so-called inner conductor process. Electrolytic de-greasing works with a circulation system for the alkaline solution.

As a rule, our electrolytic de-greasing lines are combined with pre-cleaning systems. Your options here include spray cleaning with brushes, brush rinsing and cascade rinsing. These are supplemented with dryers and ventilation systems. Treated in this way, the strip meets even the highest surface demands for all types of further refining.
