Scale-free quality. To produce perfect steel strip with clean, scale-free surfaces, pickling is essential. Our pickling lines with turbulence technology come with the added advantage of low energy and acid consumption. Low maintenance and operating costs as well as a long service life complete the picture. But above all – our pickling lines offer you the best possible scale removal without over-pickling your steel strip.

Effective turbulence. What makes the difference here is the interaction of our turbulence technology and our advanced process design. Scale breakers perform the purely mechanical preliminary work. Then, complete scale removal takes place in the acid bath of the turbulence pickling line. Our patented immersion cover optimally seals off the pickling channel to minimize acid vapor formation. The pickling tanks made of plastic or corrosion-resistant steel have a special bottom profile that largely prevents sludge deposits.
