Optimal preparation. Crucial for the optimal performance of your steelworks is pre-treatment of the hot metal produced in the blast furnace. Our hot metal processing (HMP) plants provide all you need for this, with excellent results – whether desulphurization, dephosphorization, desiliconization or slag tapping. This achieves a purity that optimizes the subsequent processes, leading to high quality products that considerably increase the added value. Just as important for you are the low investment costs involved.

Efficient processes. Short treatment times, high flexibility and the option of slag tapping from the control desk – these features underline both the efficiency and the user-friendliness of our HMP plants. They are available with mono, co- and eco-injection processes with ultra-low quantities of conveying gas or featuring the KR system with a mechanical stirrer. Both options are attractive due to their low operating costs.
